It is said that one evening, a dancing water fae tore her long green cloak on the reeds and left it trailing through the pond. Croaker, curious as ever, swam straight into the thing and got herself wonderfully caught.
The rest of the swamp made a fuss and tried to cut her free, certain she would want rid of it. Croaker refused. She salvaged the cloak into a croak and became Croaker.
Ever since, the fabric has skimmed the water behind her, leaving ripples wherever she goes. Croaker loves getting caught up in everything, talks far too much and is adored for it.
A true Glamphibian, she is never far from a pond party.
