Privacy Policy
Last updated August 31, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Ground Collective LLC ("Ground Collective") collects when you use groundcollective.co, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if you provide it), and the contents and amount of your order.
When you pay: we do not receive or store your card number. Payment details go directly to Stripe or PayPal. We receive only a payment reference and the result (paid, failed, refunded).
When you subscribe: your email address and, optionally, your name.
Automatically: basic technical data needed to run the site — a cart identifier stored in a cookie, and a short-lived hashed value of your IP address and browser used to limit abusive traffic. We do not store your raw IP address for this purpose.
Why we use it
- to process and deliver your order, and to contact you about it;
- to prevent fraud and abuse of the checkout and forms;
- to send marketing email, only if you asked us to;
- to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors, each acting on our instructions:
- Stripe and PayPal — payment processing;
- Shippo, and the carrier it books (USPS or UPS) — shipping labels and delivery;
- Klaviyo — marketing email, if you subscribed;
- Vercel and Neon — hosting and database, both in the United States;
- Resend — transactional email (order confirmations).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies
We use a strictly necessary cookie to remember your cart. It contains a signed identifier, not your personal data. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that profile you across other sites. If that ever changes, this policy changes with it and you will be asked for consent first.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Abuse-prevention records are deleted automatically within minutes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to opt out of marketing at any time. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete.
To exercise any of these, email bobbi@groundcollective.co. We will respond within the time required by law.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
